  • Publication number: 20230287636
Abstract: An autonomous stability control system may include a sensing system configured to collect position and orientation data about a work machine on a construction site and a controller. The controller may be configured to receive or generate a work path plan, operate the work machine according to the work path plan, continually or periodically monitor the orientation data from the sensing system, compare the orientation data to a vibration slope threshold, and, when the orientation data exceeds the vibration slope threshold, deactivate a vibration system of the work machine.

  • Publication number: 20230155423
Abstract: A system, apparatus, and method may operatively couple machines, each powered, at least in part by an energy accumulator, together to charge one machine using power of another machine. On condition that a first remaining amount of power in a first machine is less a first total amount of power needed to complete a first task and charging of the first machine takes priority over completion of a second task to be completed by a second machine, the second machine can travel to the first machine and charge a first energy accumulator in the first machine.

  • Patent number: 8827374
Abstract: A machine for milling a surface of a roadway is provided. The machine includes a frame and an operator station arranged on the frame. A canopy assembly including a canopy and a support assembly is provided. The support assembly supports the canopy on a portion of the frame forward of the operator station such that canopy is movable between a raised position and a lowered position. The canopy and the support assembly are configured such that in the raised position the canopy extends over at least a portion of the operator station and in the lowered position the canopy is arranged in a substantially flat orientation relative to and adjacent an upper surface of a portion of the frame forward of the operator station.

  • Publication number: 20140138934
Abstract: A push bar assembly for an operating vehicle is provided. The push bar assembly includes a telescopic bar, a tow eye, a hitch assembly, and a spring assembly. The telescopic bar includes a first tube, a second tube and a spring-lock pin. The second tube is configured to move inside the first tube. The spring-lock pin is mounted on the first tube and configured to restrict the telescopic motion of the second tube inside the first tube. The hitch assembly includes a first end, a second end and an eye. The hitch assembly is configured to couple the telescopic bar with the operating vehicle. The tow eye is coupled to a second end of the second tube. Further, the spring assembly is mounted on the first tube and is coupled to the hitch assembly.
