  • Patent number: 11229440
Abstract: Expandable occlusive plugs and methods of using them are disclosed. The devices generally include an expandable framework at least partially covered by a membrane. The occlusive plugs can be used for occlusion of body lumens and/or to limit migration of embolic agents to non-target sites.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 28, 2016
Date of Patent: January 25, 2022
    Assignee: BOSTON SCIENTIFIC SCIMED, INC.
Inventors: Robert Squire, Joel Munsinger, Derek Larson, Martin Willard, Joseph Connolly
  • Patent number: 11000679
Abstract: A movable protection and/or rewrapping device for a balloon catheter may include a tubular member with a bore extending along a length thereof. The tubular member may have at least one rib disposed on an inner surface of the bore. The tubular member may be flared away from the bore at one end and inwardly tapered at the other end. The rewrapping device may include an actuator configured to open a longitudinal slit in the tubular member.

  • Patent number: 9223971
Abstract: A computer device displays email messages received in connection with a user account and a user selectable icon to report suspicious email. The computer device receives user selections of the icon and an associated suspicious email message among the received email messages. Responsive to the selection, the computer device automatically collects information from the host, the user account, and the email message, determines an initial threat priority for the email message based on the collected information, generates threat indicators based at least on each file attachment of the email message, if any, determines malware, if any, in the email message based on the threat indicators, and creates an event ticket for the suspicious email message having fields populated based on the collected information, the initial threat priority, the threat indicators, and the determined malware.

  • Patent number: 8784468
Abstract: Stent delivery systems, locking members for preventing unwanted actuation of a actuation member on a stent delivery system, and methods for making and using the same are disclosed. An example stent delivery system may include an inner member. A deployment sheath may be disposed about the inner member. A stent may be disposed between the inner member and the deployment sheath. A handle may be coupled to the inner member and to the deployment sheath. The handle may include an actuation member. The actuation member may be configured to shift the longitudinal position of the deployment sheath relative to the inner member. A locking member may be disposed on the actuation member. The locking member may be configured to prevent unwanted actuation of the actuation member.
