  • Publication number: 20250034536
Abstract: The present disclosure encompasses engineered meganucleases that bind and cleave recognition sequences within a dystrophin gene. The present disclosure also encompasses methods of using such engineered meganucleases to make genetically modified cells. Further, the disclosure encompasses pharmaceutical compositions comprising engineered meganuclease proteins, or polynucleotides encoding engineered meganucleases of the disclosure, and the use of such compositions for the modification of a dystrophin gene in a subject, or for treatment of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.

  • Patent number: 12212170
Abstract: A rechargeable battery assembly includes a rechargeable battery having a positive terminal and a negative terminal, and a rigid electrically conductive frame electrically connected to at least one of the positive terminal or the negative terminal of the rechargeable battery. The rigid electrically conductive frame is bent along multiple axes and includes a plurality of conductive frame members that are mechanically coupled together. The rigid electrically conductive frame surrounds the rechargeable battery on at least five sides, thereby providing structural stability to the rechargeable battery assembly during storage and use.

  • Publication number: 20240238004
Abstract: A circumferential nerve cutter is described herein. The nerve cutter holds a nerve in tension while circumferentially constraining the side of the nerve being retained in a manner that prevents flattening or crushing. A head of the nerve cutter separates the preserved side from the portion of the nerve being cut that is being removed. The head includes a cutting slot configured to accommodate an off-the-shelf scalpel blade, while ensuring that the blade remains approximately square preventing obliquity of resultant cut. The side of the head that interfaces with the preserved side of the nerve is configured to prevent and/or inhibit the nerve from moving radially to its axis while being cut.

  • Patent number: 12014222
Abstract: A processing device receives a first cluster management operation request, wherein the first cluster management operation request is for a deployment operation of a first cluster and comprises a cluster template, a specified number of nodes to deploy and a configuration. The processing device determines a plurality of constraints from at least one of the cluster template or the configuration. The processing device deterministically solves for and outputs a first cluster layout comprising the specified number of nodes, each of the specified number of nodes comprising a hardware type, an image type and one or more services, wherein the first cluster layout satisfies the plurality of constraints.
