  • Publication number: 20250019283
Abstract: A scale inhibitor composition for reducing calcium scale under stressed conditions is disclosed. The composition comprises a combination of scale inhibiting components, including an acrylic acid polymer and a chelant. The acrylic acid polymer is provided as an aqueous polymerization reaction product of an acrylic acid and a chain transfer agent, with the acrylic acid polymer having a weight averaged molecular weight (Mw) of from about 1,300 to about 15,000 Daltons. A method of preparing the scale inhibitor composition is also disclosed, and comprises reacting the acrylic acid and the chain transfer agent to give the reaction product comprising the acrylic acid polymer, and combining the reaction product with the chelant. A process for ameliorating calcite scale in a mining operation is further disclosed.

  • Patent number: 12190398
Abstract: A computer implemented method for administration of admission offers from educational institutions including receiving student information from students, generating a unique student identifier for each of the students, generating a universal student profile for each of the students on the database, the universal student profile including the unique student identifier, student identification information, and student qualification information for each of the students, identifying matching students from a plurality of universal student profiles stored on the database whose qualification information satisfies the entrance requirement information of any of the plurality of educational institution profiles stored on the database, generating on the database an anonymized version of the universal student profile of each of the matching students, and transmitting over the data network the anonymized version of the universal student profile of each of the matching students to educational institutions whose entrance req

  • Patent number: 7869722
Abstract: A toner dam maintenance process and system model the amount of toner mass at a toner cleaner blade, and apply a corrective procedure, such as insertion of a paperless copy into the print job mid-job or immediately prior to cycle out, to replenish the toner mass at the cleaner blade to maintain lubrication and reduce cleaning failure. The modeling includes contributing factors toward toner dam input and output, including untransferred toner, cycle-in/cycle-out bands, untransferred background, and leakage of toner from the cleaner blade. One or several threshold can be reached to cause one or more different corrective actions to take place. The action may be adding or skipping a pitch to insert a corrective maintenance pattern without transfer.
