    Abstract: A hitch swing cylinder mounting point repositioning mechanism for use on an agricultural mower that enables the draft tongue to be pivoted through a swing range during mower operation when the mounting point is in a first position. Repositioning the mounting point to a second position enables the swing cylinder to pivot the draft tongue to a position generally perpendicular to the normal operating direction of travel thereby enabling lateral transport of the mower.

    Abstract: A wheel-supported frame for an agricultural mower having a tongue, a pivotally connected frame having a pair of main wheel, and a pair of a retractable transport wheels connected to the frame. A mechanism is provided for each transport wheel to deploy the transport wheels and support the mower, the transport wheels being oriented for travel 90 degrees to the direction of travel of the main wheels. The pivoting tongue connection with the main frame provides for at least a 90 degree rotation of the frame relative to the tongue between operating and transport positions so that the mower may be pulled for transport with the mower moving in the direction of its normal lateral width. The transport wheel mechanisms also position the transport wheels where they will not interfere with mower operation, especially pivoting of the tongue.

The chaff pan also includes a flow control guide vane positioned on the surface of the chaff pan that extends from the proximal end to the distal end of the surface. The flow control guide vane is positioned on the surface at an angle relative to a midline of the chaff pan for directing the flow of chaff towards the midline of the chaff pan.

The transport wheel assembly comprises a moveable frame that pivots approximately 270 degrees between a retracted position when the mower is operating and a transport position, and an actuator to position the moveable frame between the retracted and transport positions. A linkage including a bell crank interconnects the actuator and the moveable frame to enable full extent of pivoting of the moveable frame with a single direction movement of the actuator between an extended and a retracted position. The transport wheel mechanisms also position the transport wheels where they will not interfere with mower operation, especially pivoting of the tongue.

The frame includes a first support member and a second support member each extending unsupported between the opposed ends of the frame. A driven roller assembly has at least two axially aligned rollers extending between the opposed ends of the frame, regions of the rollers of the driven roller assembly being rotatably secured to the first support member. An idler roller assembly has at least two axially aligned rollers extending between the opposed ends of the frame, regions of the rollers of the idler roller assembly being rotatably secured to the second support member. The roller assemblies move the belt for delivering a crop to the header.
