    Abstract: A pipeline connector capable of functioning as a buckle arrestor which is a tubular member having two sections with a suitable profile for threaded or collect connection of the two sections in axial alignment with each other. A method of repairing a pipeline having the improved connector of the present invention including the steps of removing the damaged section of pipeline, locating new section of pipeline with collet type connectors on each end in place of the damaged section and connecting the new section.
