Abstract: A high efficiency alternator capable of supplying extreme high power output with maximum dissipation of heat. Preferably, the alternator includes dual field coils mounted stationary around a common shaft and dual brushless rotors. The alternator may also include three or more phases, and uniquely wound stator assemblies. The alternator may also include dual, three-phase bridge-type rectifiers and dual voltage regulators. All electrical components are preferably redundant. Air cooling through the interior perimeter of the alternator is preferably provided to cool the housing.
