  • Patent number: 10663103
Abstract: The present invention provides an adjustable clamp apparatus having curved arms which pivot/articulate relative to each other. The distance between pivot points can be adjusted via specially configured couplers having nuts and threaded rods. The curved arms can be locked together with a rod placed in a slot, and then squeezed by rotation of threaded rod. In the interior of the curved arms there can be a plurality of projections or contact points. A strap can be connected to a selected adjustable clamp (e.g., by a pair of padeyes) and used to raise and lower the clamp. When being lowered onto a pipe to be repaired, the curved arms can be open wide and when their upper portions make contact with the pipe to be repaired, this contact will tend to cause arms to close around the pipe relative to each other. Once clamped against the pipe with the clamps, the repair members can be welded together.

  • Patent number: 9004833
Abstract: A fastener apparatus is disclosed that features projecting locking members that extend and retract when a central drive shaft is rotated. The exterior of the connector has a body that is partially threaded to receive a nut so that two structures (e.g. flanges, panels, plates, beams, etc.) can be pulled together by tightening the bolt when the locking members are in the extended position. In one embodiment, the shaft can be an eyebolt.

  • Patent number: 7540140
Abstract: An improved shackle assembly is disclosed that provides a bow having specially configured receptacle on one end portion that interlocks with a specially configured pin assembly. The pin assembly has locking members or lugs that move between locking and releasing positions. The locking lugs can be moved to a locking position or unlocked using a rotating end portion of the shaft opposite the receptacle.

The pin assembly has locking members or lugs that move between locking and releasing positions. The locking lugs can be moved to a locking position or unlocked using a tool such as an allen wrench, screwdriver, or any other tool that rotates a drive shaft which is used to operate the locking lugs.

  • Patent number: 7258516
Abstract: A vehicle cargo transport apparatus is disclosed that provides a vehicle having a cargo deck having a plurality of beams, the beams being preferably positioned flush with the cargo deck, each beam having one or more beam openings or sockets. There are preferably first and second pairs of the beams. The first pair is preferably a pair of parallel beams. The beams of the second pair are preferably parallel. At least two of the beams are generally perpendicular to one another. Eyebolt like connectors attach to the beam openings, preferably by interlocking a lower end portion of the connector with a beam at a beam opening or socket. Specially configured straps employ cables and foam core sleeves. The sleeves can be color coded to indicate the nature of the cargo.

  • Publication number: 20060284437
Abstract: A vehicle cargo storage system attaches to a truck bed, providing a plurality of beams that can support individual fasteners (e.g. eyebolts) to which cables can attach for securing a load. Alternatively, a load carrying module having a cargo deck and an under deck storage area is affixable to the beams. Optional devices (e.g. toolbox, grill, table, storage containers/boxes) can be supported upon the cargo deck or under deck storage area of the load carrying module.
