  • Publication number: 20250154432
Abstract: A washing/waxing concentrate, a waxing/washing composition obtainable by diluting the concentrate, and methods of concurrently washing and waxing a surface using the washing/waxing composition. The washing/waxing concentrate and composition comprises a first, aqueous washing phase and a second, hydrophobic waxing phase. The second, hydrophobic waxing phase comprises a hydrophobic, film-forming material that is present in the form of droplets that are stabilized by an electrostatic complex coacervate formulated using anionic polymer along with cationic polymer. The washing/waxing concentrate and composition further comprises a surfactant package comprising an anionic surfactant.

  • Publication number: 20230052983
Abstract: A waxing composition configured to be used in combination with an aqueous washing composition, and methods of concurrently washing and waxing a surface using the waxing composition and the aqueous washing composition in combination. The waxing composition includes at least one hydrophobic film-forming material, wherein the waxing composition present in a non-stabilized hydrophobic phase that is different from the washing composition.

  • Publication number: 20220267640
Abstract: The composition includes a polyorganosiloxane and an amino-functional silane. The polyorganosiloxane has divalent units represented by Formula (I) and greater than two —Si(Y)p(R)3-P groups, in which each R is a non-hydrolyzable group; each Y is a hydrolysable group; and p is 1, 2, or 3. The composition further includes an amino-functional silane represented by (R6)2N—[R4—Z]r—R4—[Si(Y)p(R5)3-P] or a cyclic azasilane of Formula (II). Each R4 is a linking group; each R5 is a non-hydrolyzable group; each Z is —O— or —N(R6)—; each R6 is hydrogen, alkyl, aryl, arylalkylenyl, or —R4—[Si(Y)p(R5)3-P]; R7 is a linking group that can have at least one catenated —N(R8)—; each R8 is hydrogen, alkyl, or alkenyl, which may be substituted by an amino group; each Y is a hydrolyzable group; r is 0, 1, 2, or 3; and p is 1, 2, or 3. A method of using the composition to make a coated article is also described.
