  • Publication number: 20180300794
Abstract: Techniques are described for taking actions based on multidimensional profile matching. A system defines a multi-dimensional user space that describes users and a multi-dimensional product space that describes products. The system also generates, for a user, a user profile that represents a vector within the multi-dimensional user space and generates, for multiple products, product profiles that each represent a vector within the multi-dimensional product space. The system further maps the user profile to a recommendation vector within the multi-dimensional product space and compares the recommendation vector to vectors within the multi-dimensional product space represented by the product profiles. Based on the comparison, the system determines, from among the multiple products, a subset of the multiple products to recommend to the user and outputs an interface that includes a recommendation for the user.

  • Patent number: 8938456
Abstract: A method of optimizing data recovery in an RDF data system in which the occurrence of data values across one or more of subject, predicate, and object are ranked, a handle is assigned to each of one or more of the ranked data values wherein the handle is directly based on the ranking. The rank-based handle can then be used to index the RDF statements. An RDF data recovery system includes an RDF statement processor configured to rank data values and assign handles to data values based on ranking.

  • Patent number: 8429150
Abstract: A system and method for distributed query compilation and evaluation involving a first table having a first number of partitions and a second table having a second number of partitions. A query operation, such as a join, is performed for each combination of partitions from the first and second tables. The result of each query operation on each combination of partitions is organized into a third number of partitions. A number of tables equal to the third number are generated with each table including one of the partition results from each of the query operation combinations.

  • Patent number: 8346812
Abstract: Indexing in a resource description framework data system including a search key set of ranking relationships for the subject, predicate, and object of RDF statements, generation of a single nodal index including a node for each of the RDF statements, each node having a plurality of rank tracking indicators that include a position indicator representing the relative position of the RDF statement in each ranking relationship. A computer readable storage medium and a system for indexing a resource description framework data system are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20120066205
Abstract: A system and method of compiling a query involving clumping contiguous constraints of a query into one or more subqueries based on partition organization parameters and evaluating each subquery against a partition of a graph having data records for the corresponding partition organization parameter value. In one example, clumping of contiguous query constraints based on an RDF data component, such as a subject, may be used to evaluating subqueries of a query against one or more partitions of a graph having RDF data records with that subject.
