  • Patent number: 11723300
Abstract: A biasing system for use with an associated run selector device includes a valve body member movable within a housing between opposite first and second run selection positions selecting respective first and second commodity distribution runs of the associated run selector device. The biasing system includes a first biasing element on the housing, and a second biasing element on the valve body member. The first and second biasing elements are movable relative to each other between opposite first and second biasing system positions together with the associated valve body member being moved relative to the housing between the opposite first and second run selection positions. The first and second biasing elements are mutually biased against each other to urge each other apart and towards a one or the other of the opposite first and second biasing system positions.

  • Publication number: 20230104651
Abstract: A closure assembly includes a tank opening flange that surrounds a tank opening of a supply tank and a tank lid that covers the tank opening. The tank lid is operable between open and closed positions. A compression seal is attached to an underside of the tank lid and is disposed between the tank opening flange and the tank lid when the tank lid is in the closed position. A pair of guides are attached to opposite sides of the tank opening flange wherein each of the pair of guides defines a track opening to receive a plurality of sliding mechanisms attached to the tank lid. The track opening guides the sliding mechanisms and the tank lid around the tank opening flange such that the compression seal does not engage the tank opening flange when the tank lid is operated between the closed and open positions.

  • Publication number: 20060005516
Abstract: A filter to clean the air entering an alternator in a vehicle used in a dirty environment such as a crop harvesting machine includes a mesh filter which is coupled to an air intake of the alternator. The filter is constructed of a mesh material which is flexible and includes relatively small apertures. The apertures prevent chaff and other extraneous material from entering the alternator, while allowing air to flow freely into the alternator, preventing overheating. The flexible mesh sleeve can be vibrated during operation, as, for example, by the flow of air from the engine fan, to provide a self cleaning function in which the vibration causes extraneous material to be shook from the filter.
