The electronic device may include any one of a handheld device, an in-vehicle device, a wearable device, a terminal device or connected to a wireless modem, a cellular phone, a smartphone, a personal digital assistant, a computer, a tablet computer, a laptop, or the like. In embodiments of this application, a cross section of a spring wire is a rectangle. Under a same space condition, a coil spring with a rectangular cross section has a higher rigidity, absorbs more energy, and increases a damping force generated by the damping assembly, thereby improving a hand feeling of a user when folding or unfolding the electronic device. When a same damping force is met, the coil spring with a rectangular cross section occupies a smaller space, which facilitates arrangement of another component of the electronic device.

Abstract: This application provides a rotary shaft assembly and a foldable electronic device. A cam group of the rotary shaft assembly includes a first cam and a second cam, and the first cam and the second cam are in mutual contact and extrusion, and can rotate relative to each other. A protruding part is disposed on the first cam, a recessed part is disposed on the second cam, and the recessed part has a sliding surface. When the first cam rotates relative to the second cam, the protruding part always slides on the sliding surface of a corresponding recessed part. The sliding surface is inclined relative to a plane perpendicular to an axis of a connecting shaft, and extends, from a first end to a second end, toward a direction away from the first cam in a direction of the axis of the connecting shaft.

A bottom plate of the foldable holder is rotationally connected to a first support plate through a first rotating portion, and a second support plate is rotationally connected to the first support plate through a second rotating portion. A clamping portion is mounted on the first support plate and slidable relative to the first support plate. When the foldable holder is in a closed state, the clamping portion clamps the second rotating portion to lock the first support plate and the second support plate, when the first support plate is at an angle to the bottom plate, the clamping portion is unlocked from the second rotating portion and clamped with the first rotating portion, the unlocking of the second rotating portion enables the second support plate to rotate relative to the first support plate.

The elastic member is disposed on the central shaft, and the elastic member is in a hollowed-out shape and is of an integrated structure. The concave cam assembly is disposed on the central shaft, and the concave cam assembly may enable the elastic member to be deformed. When the first bracket rotates relative to the second bracket, the concave cam assembly generates an extrusion force acting on the elastic member, so that the elastic member in a hollowed-out shape is deformed, and then a specific included angle is formed between the first bracket and the second bracket.
