Abstract: An electrical connection adapter for an existing light fixture is described herein. The adapter can include a housing having at least one wall that forms a chamber disposed between a top side and a bottom side of the housing. The adapter can also include a first connection feature disposed within the top side of the housing and configured to couple to an electrical connector for the existing light fixture. The adapter can further include a second connection feature disposed within the bottom side of the housing. The adapter can be configured to couple to a light source of a retrofit light fixture. The adapter can also include a power transfer device disposed within the chamber of the housing, where the power transfer device has a first end electrically coupled to the first connection feature and a second end electrically coupled to the second connection feature.
