  • Publication number: 20250129303
Abstract: A method for producing hydrocarbons includes subjecting a first feed stream to steam cracking to obtain a first product stream, and subjecting an ethane-containing second feed stream to oxidative dehydrogenation to obtain a second product stream. A portion of the first product stream is subjected to a deethanization or a depropanization separately from the second product to obtain a lighter fraction and a heavier fraction. A demethanization feed stream is formed by combining at least a portion of the lighter fraction and at least a portion of the second product stream and is subjected at least in part to demethanization. Partial oxygen removal is carried out during the formation of the demethanization feed stream. The oxygen removal is carried out downstream of the combining step.

  • Publication number: 20250051665
Abstract: A method for producing one or more hydrocarbons, includes subjecting a first feed stream to a steam cracking to obtain a first product stream and subjecting a second feed stream containing ethane to an oxidative dehydrogenation to obtain a second product stream At least a portion of the first product stream is subjected to a treatment to obtain hydrocarbon fractions. The treatment includes a selective hydrogenation of hydrocarbons having two carbon atoms and a demethanization. At least a portion of the second product stream is subjected to a trace removal, which comprises the removal of oxygen and/or acetylene, to obtain an subsequent stream. At least a portion of the subsequent stream is fed to the treatment at a position downstream of the selective hydrogenation and upstream of the demethanization. A portion of the subsequent stream is subjected to a carbon dioxide removal upstream of the feed point into the treatment.

  • Patent number: 12012377
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing one or more olefins and one or more carboxylic acids, in which one or more paraffins is or are subjected to an oxidative dehydrogenation. For the oxidative dehydrogenation, a reactor (10) having a plurality of reaction zones (11, 12, 13) is used, a gas mixture comprising the one or more paraffins is successively passed through the reaction zones (11, 12, 13), and at least two of the reaction zones (11, 12, 13) are subject to varying temperature influences. The invention also relates to a corresponding system (100).

  • Patent number: 11130722
Abstract: Proposed is a process for producing ethylene wherein using a dehydrogenation of ethane a process gas containing at least ethane, ethylene and compounds having a lower boiling point than ethane and ethylene is formed, wherein using at least a part of the process gas a separation input is formed and subjected to a low-temperature separation (6) in which the separation input is cooled and in which one or more condensates are separated from the separation input, wherein the condensate(s) are at least partly subjected to a low-temperature rectification to obtain a gaseous first fraction and a liquid second fraction, wherein the gaseous first fraction contains at least the ethane and the ethylene in a lower proportion than in the separation input and the compounds having a lower boiling point than ethane and ethylene in a higher proportion than in the separation input.
