  • Patent number: 11925262
Abstract: Runner assembly 10 for carrying a receptacle 12 towards and away from a structure 14. The runner assembly 10 includes: at least one pair of first bearings 16, each first bearing 16 being mountable to the structure 14 so that the first bearings 16 of the, or each, pair are spaced apart; an elongate runner 18 defining a longitudinal length and having an opposed pair of first tracks 22 spaced from each other, each first track 22 configured to cooperate with the first bearings 16 to allow the runner 18 to be carried by the first bearings 16; at least one second bearing 24 mounted to the runner 18; and an elongate track member 26 mountable to the receptacle 12, the track member 26 having a second track 28 defining at least one pair of opposed bearing surfaces 30, 31 spaced from each other and configured to cooperate with the at least one second bearing 24 to allow the track member 26 to be carried by the at least one second bearing 24.

  • Patent number: 9021848
Abstract: Forming a sector for a nacelle lip skin from a sheet metal blank via punch by placing the blank against an outer surface of the punch and clamping a trailing edge of the blank in a clamping member that grips a trailing edge of the blank without slippage; gripping a leading edge of the blank, opposite the trailing edge, in a gripping device at a location axially spaced from the punch with sufficient force to permit the blank to flow therethrough in a controlled manner; displacing the gripping device in a first direction, radially with respect to the punch while drawing the blank through the gripper; displacing the gripping device in a second direction, axially with respect to the punch, to draw the blank over the leading edge of the punch and through the gripping device.

  • Publication number: 20110162429
Abstract: A method of forming a sector for a nacelle lip skin from a sheet metal blank comprising the steps of: providing an arcuate or annular punch (7) or mandrel having an inner surface, an outer surface and a leading edge, said punch (7) substantially corresponding in shape to an inner surface of at least a sector of the nacelle lip skin, placing the blank (13) against the outer surface of the punch (7) and clamping a trailing edge of the blank (13) in a clamping means (11,12) to hold the blank (13) against the outer surface of the punch (7), said clamping means (11,12) gripping said trailing edge of the blank without slippage; gripping a leading edge of the blank (13), opposite said trailing edge, in a gripping means (8,9), at a location axially spaced from said punch (7) adjacent and in front of the leading edge of the punch (7), said gripping means (8,9) gripping said blank (13) with sufficient force to permit the blank (13) to flow therethrough in a controlled manner without tearing or wrinkling; displacing the

  • Patent number: 6958308
Abstract: A method for producing dispersed metal particles on a substrate and the compositions produced is disclosed. A method for producing the particles comprises exposing an organometallic and a particulate substrate to supercritical or near supercritical fluid under conditions to form a mixture of the fluid and the organometallic, allowing the mixture to remain in contact with the substrate for a time sufficient to deposit dispersed organometallic onto the substrate, venting the mixture, thereby adsorbing the organometallic onto the substrate, and reducing the dispersed organometallic to dispersed metal particles with a reducing agent.

  • Publication number: 20040134146
Abstract: The invention of this application is a protective sleeve for posts, such as fence posts, which are placed in the ground and cemented in place. The use of the protective sleeve increases the useful life of the post and makes it easy to replace a broken post without removing the concrete.
