    Abstract: A harvester operable to shake a plant to jar produce therefrom is formed as a unit which may be carried on a tractor which also serves as a power source therefor. At one end, the unit may be connected to a tractor to extend longitudinally thereof. At its opposite end, the unit has a shaking mechanism having jaws for gripping the plant. The unit also includes a foldable catching portion which is movable from a closed position to a catching position surrounding the trunk of the plant held between its jaws.
