  • Patent number: 9918037
Abstract: A multi-tier color look-up table (LUT) database system is provided. A first LUT can be stored in a database. First and second users can be granted access to the first LUT. The first and second users can have access to the first LUT for first and second periods of time, respectively. A second LUT can be stored in the database. The first user's access to the first LUT can be removed while the second user's access is maintained. The first and second users can be granted access to the second LUT. The first user can be granted a second access to the first LUT, and can have second access to the first LUT for a third period of time. The third period of time beginning after the end of the first period of time, with the second period of time overlapping with the first and third periods of time.

  • Publication number: 20150347693
Abstract: There is described a computer-implemented method for selecting readers for analyzing a medical image, comprising use of at least one processing unit for: receiving an order due-in-time requirement associated with a given radiology order, the radiology order being associated with the medical image to be analyzed; receiving an order expected reading time for analyzing the medical image for each reader of a group of readers, each reader having a respective order analysis schedule of assigned orders, each assigned order being provided with a respective due-in-time requirement and a respective expected reading time; identifying adequate readers for whom the given radiology order is insertable in the respective order analysis schedule using the order due-in-time requirement associated with the given radiology order, the order expected reading time, and the respective due-in-time requirement and respective expecting reading time for each one of the assigned orders; and outputting an identification of the adequate re

  • Publication number: 20150347694
Abstract: There is described a computer-implemented method for selecting readers to analyze a medical image, comprising use of at least one processing unit for: receiving a radiology order associated with the medical image; determining an order subspecialty corresponding to the radiology order; comparing a reader subspecialty of each one of a group of readers to the determined order subspecialty of the radiology order; identifying given readers amongst the group of readers who are qualified for analyzing the radiology order using the comparison; and outputting an identification of the given readers.

  • Patent number: 9119559
Abstract: The invention relates to the field of computerized generation of a visualization from a plurality of images. In particular, the invention relates to generating a three-dimensional (3D) visualization from a plurality of two-dimensional (2D) medical images. The images may be obtained from an ultrasound device. Regions of interest are segmented in at least two images and the region of interest is then tracked and segmented among the remaining images.

  • Patent number: 7883350
Abstract: This approach generally pertains to a header connector with rigid latches. The connector includes columns with column cavities therein and latching mechanisms having latch beams and latching ends, with a plurality of mating contacts with mounting pins affixed to a dielectric housing. A harness is securable to the header connector generally between the latching mechanisms. The harness is insertable and removable. The harness provides easy access to a tool that can facilitate extraction of the harness from the header connector.

  • Publication number: 20100158332
Abstract: The invention provides a system and method for processing medical images. Input medical images are normalized first, utilizing pixel intensities of control point tissues, including subcutaneous fat. Clustered density map and malignance probability map are generated from a normalized image and further analyzed to identify regions of common internal characteristics, or blobs, that may represent lesions. These blobs are analyzed and classified to differentiate possible true lesions from other types of non-malignant masses often seen in medical images.
