    Abstract: An improved tailgate for allowing easy hook-up to 5th wheel trailers; recreational or horse-utility types by way of a drop down top center door incorporated into the tailgate. This allows a line of sight from the tow vehicle to the 5th wheel trailer through the hitching access path with which the hitch pin travels to engage the receiver hitch mounted in the pick-up truck box.
