    Abstract: This invention discloses a method of treating a patient having a cancerous disease comprising administering to the patient an effective amount of a composition capable of generating a hydroxyl radical, wherein the extracellular pH of the cancer cells is less than 7.0. Preferably, the method includes employing N-substituted hydroxyl amines as the composition capable of generating the hydroxyl radical.
