Abstract: A cable sleeve seal including a seamed pipe section and end-face seal members, with a sealing insert in sealing regions between the end face seal members and an inside of the pipe section and in a longitudinal seam of the pipe section, whereby the sealing insert is fixedly arranged in the sealing regions and the longitudinal seam. Moreover, the sealing insert merges from the sealing regions at the end face seal members into the longitudinal seam without interruption.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a heat-shrinkable hose, wherein at least one shrinkable thread is wound around a basic hose element. A cover hose is provided that surrounds the basic hose element and overlies the heat-shrinkable thread. Longitudinal supporting threads can be provided for additional reinforcement.

Abstract: A cable sleeve is composed of longitudinally-divided cable sleeve shells that have a housing parting plane. The cable introduction areas are disposed spaced from this parting plane and, preferably, in a separate introduction parting plane so that when the cable sleeve shells are opened up to gain access to the interior, the seals on the cable introduction openings are not destroyed and remain unaffected.

Abstract: A cable sleeve which is longitudinally water tight, includes a sleeve head which is composed of an outside member having an inner cavity which expands conically from one end towards the other end and an inside member which is introduced in the cavity and has an outside surface which is matched to the conical inside surface of the outside member so that when the two members are assembled, a conical annular gap is formed therebetween for holding leads of the cable in a fanned out manner. If the sleeve head is for a branch fitting, it will be constructed to receive two cables whose leads will both be fanned out in the gap between the inside and outside members, which gap also receives a small amount of sealing compound to form a water tight seal with the leads. The shape of the cavity and the outside surface of the inside member can be each conical or if the head is designed to receive more than one cable, it can have a flattened conical surface to form a flattened conical gap.
