  • Patent number: 10998152
Abstract: An operating device (1) having an illuminated level control actuating element, in particular for audio systems, comprising a level control (10) which has an actuating element (40) movable along an adjustment path (20). In the interior, the actuating element (40) comprises a light guiding section (160) by which light coupled into a coupling section (130) on the lower side face of the actuating element (40) is guided to one or more exit zones (170) of the gripping faces (60) of the actuating element (40), and a plurality of illumination means (100) which are controllable for individual positioning are arranged along the adjustment path (20), such that in any position of the level control (10) along the adjustment path (20) the actuating element (40) covers at least one of the illumination means (100) with the lower side face of the actuating element.

  • Patent number: 5714956
Abstract: System for analog-digital conversion of signal using at least two less highly resolving AD converters, each having a different preamplification, wherein the AD converter having the most favorable resolution of the momentary signal is utilized to compute therefrom the digital output signal of the system. The preamplifications do not have to be precisely known, but are determined by means of the digital signals formed by the conversion. Preamplification errors, such as offset errors or transmit time errors, are eliminated by choosing the appropriate computation algorithm.

  • Patent number: 5600317
Abstract: This invention relates to a circuit for converting an analog audio signal to a highly resolving bit stream. An audio signal (U.sub.In) is converted on several parallel paths (1, 2) having different amplitude sensitivities into a data stream, where the offset of the individual paths (1, 2) is compensated for individually. Subsequently the amplification difference produced by the different amplitude sensitivities is determined and compensated for, so that one of the two data streams is made available as a bit stream for further processing. The selection of the data stream which is made available as a bit stream for further processing, is determined based on the amplitude of the audio signal (U.sub.In).
