  • Patent number: 8886702
Abstract: A method operates a management system having at least one manager and one agent and said manager is provided with information containing plurality of information items for triggering. The information items are stored for triggering in the manager memory. At least one information item for triggering is transmitted by the manager to the agents in such a way that said information item for triggering effects at least one hardware unit at the agent. Afterwards the at least one information item for triggering is erased from or marked in the manager memory.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 24, 2006
Date of Patent: November 11, 2014
Assignee: Nokia Siemens Networks GmbH & Co. KG

  • Patent number: 5781251
Abstract: A method and apparatus for a single panel projector, for projecting images having a plurality of color components, include a mechanism for deflecting light into a plurality of directions, and a light panel for receiving the light deflected by the deflecting mechanism. The deflecting mechanism includes a transparent optical medium having a nonuniform thickness, in which light beams enter through a center opening of the medium and exit at areas along a side of the medium.

  • Patent number: 5608467
Abstract: A color projection video system utilizing only a single light valve. A white light source is separated into into red, green and blue bands. Scanning optics cause the RGB bands to be sequentially scanned across a light valve, such as a transmission LCD panel. Prior to each color passing over a given row of panels on the light valve, that row will be addressed, by the display electronics with the appropriate color content of that portion of the image which is being displayed. The image is projected by a projection lens onto a viewing surface, such as a screen. The sequence of light bands occurs so quickly as to give the viewer an appearance of simultaneous full color.

Date of Patent: March 4, 1997
Assignee: Philips Electronics North America Corporation
Inventors: Peter J. Janssen, Ralph H. Bradley, Joseph P. Bingham, William F. Guerinot, Detlev Otto

  • Patent number: 5014122
Abstract: A method for encoding and transmitting video signals, the method including separating the video signals into consecutive base intervals, each base interval having a predetermined time duration; time delaying every other one of the base intervals for the predetermined time duration whereby consecutive pairs of the base intervals are available in parallel; time expanding by a factor of two each of the consecutive pairs of base intervals thereby reducing the bandwidth of the intervals by one-half; and amplitude modulating in quadrature the base intervals in the time expanded consecutive pairs of base intervals onto a carrier frequency located in a transmission band.

  • Patent number: 5001551
Abstract: An apparatus for encoding and transmitting video signals including a circuit for separating the video signals into two complementary signals for processing in two separate transmission paths; in a first of the paths, a circuit for separating a portion of one of the two complementary signals corresponding to a standard video signal; and a circuit for transmitting this portion over a first standard transmission channel; and in a second of the paths, a circuit for dividing the other of the two complementary signals into consecutive intervals, each interval having a predetermined time duration; a circuit for time delaying every other one of the intervals for the predetermined time interval such that consecutive two intervals of the video signal appear simultaneously; a circuit for time expanding the pairs of intervals by a factor of two thereby reducing the bandwidth thereof by one-half; a circuit for amplitude modulating in quadrature each pair of intervals onto a carrier having a frequency located in the middle
