Abstract: A stabilized semi-solid delivery vehicle contains a polyorthoester and an excipient, and a pharmaceutical composition contains an active agent, optionally a stabilizing agent, and the delivery vehicle. The pharmaceutical composition may be a topical, syringable, or injectable formulation; and is suitable for local delivery of the active agent. Methods of treatment are also disclosed.

Abstract: Described are methods and apparatus, including computer program products, for automated testing of a handheld device over a network. A first predefined test is executed on a handheld device to generate a first element with a first predefined value for a first parameter associated with the first element and the first element is transmitted over a communication network to a desktop computing device. Receipt of the first element is verified at the desktop computing device. Also verified is that the first parameter associated with the first element has the first predefined value.

The assembly utilized by the present invention uniquely allows a user to remove a drumhead quickly, dispensing with the need to unscrew multiple tuning rodes. Thus, the assembly of the present invention allows for more efficient transport, assembly and disassembly of drums than previously available, and does so in a manner that maintains the integrity of the traditional tuning system.
