  • Patent number: 9547752
Abstract: A graphical user interface for controlling and configuring a remote catheter guidance system having the graphical user interface is displayed concurrently with the mapping and navigation display of the remote catheter guidance system and the graphical user interface being configured to allows a user full control of all the remote catheter guidance system movement functions without leaving the mapping and navigation display. The graphical user interface further allows the physician to quickly configure and calibrate a remote catheter guidance system prior to or during a procedure.

    Filed: December 31, 2010
Date of Patent: January 17, 2017
Assignee: St. Jude Medical, Atrial Fibrillation Division, Inc.
Inventors: Kulbir S. Sandhu, Venkata Adusumilli, Devanshi Shah, Jimmy Quoc Hy Duong
  • Patent number: 9241768
Abstract: A robotic catheter system includes a robotic controller; a robotic manipulator; and in input controller. The input controller includes communication circuitry configured to receive a signal from a user input device; memory having stored therein a plurality of device drivers associated with a different type of input device or a differently configured input device; and a processor configured to recognize an input device connected with the communications circuitry, load a device driver according to the recognized input device, initialize the input device, and/or one of reject and notify an end user, and deliver an image to a display or graphical user interface.

  • Patent number: 8554333
Abstract: A wireless communication threshold for an implantable medical device is automatically adapted in an attempt to maintain optimum signal detection sensitivity. In some aspects, a threshold level may be adapted to account for current environmental conditions, implant conditions, device conditions, or other conditions that may affect the reception of wireless signals at the device. In some aspects, the determination of an optimum level for the threshold involves a tradeoff relating to effectively detecting target signals while avoiding detection of noise and/or interference. In some aspects, adaptation of a threshold may be based on maximum energy levels associated with one or more sets of RF energy sample data. In some aspects, adaptation of a threshold may be based on the number of false wakeups that occur during a period of time.
