  • Publication number: 20260195433
Abstract: A system and method for user validation via an identity provider computing device, including a processor and memory device, communicably coupled with a user computing device associated with a user. The identity provider computing device receives a signal associated with a private Fast Identity Online (FIDO) key from the user computing device, verifies that the signal associated with the private FIDO key corresponds to a public FIDO key stored on the memory device, receives data regarding behavioral biometrics sensed by the user computing device, and inputs variables based on the received data into a trained machine learning (ML) model. The ML model outputs a confidence score based on the variables, and the computing device determines if the confidence score satisfies validation criteria. Based on the determination, a notification of whether the user is fraudulent is output to the user computing device and/or a computing system of a service provider.

  • Publication number: 20260141391
Abstract: A system and method for training a machine learning model for fraud detection involves collecting and preparing data, performing variable calculations, selecting a classification machine learning model, and training algorithms of the selected model using labeled data to discern one or more patterns between input features and one or more target variables (fraud/no fraud decisions). Trained model artifacts are generated, encapsulating learned patterns and relationships from the training data. Additionally, the system and method are used to identify one or more fraudulent behavior patterns within large transaction datasets, generate an age confidence score based on these patterns, and predict fraudulent activities based on the age confidence score, enabling tailored support for system users.

  • Patent number: 12506612
Abstract: The invention relates to a computer storage device, system, and method for secure offline authentications. An authentication device receives an authentication attempt from a user mobile device, decrypts an encrypted user identifier, and receives a two-factor authentication (2FA) code from a user. The device validates the authentication attempt based on the decrypted user identifier and the received 2FA code offline. The device tracks the number of validated authentication attempts and compares it to a threshold. When the number of validated authentication attempts exceeds the threshold, the 2FA code is automatically shared with a second computer storage device, allowing the user to validate an authentication attempt with both devices without inputting the 2FA code. The same entity controls both the computer storage device and the second computer storage device.

  • Publication number: 20250348859
Abstract: A system and method for facilitating an international payment card-based or other financial transaction by evaluating multiple international pathways for transaction processing and data storage and identifying and using an optimum pathway between the origination and destination countries for these processes. The origination and destination countries are assigned country categories based on localization requirements for the transaction processing and data storage processes, and a first pathway is identified, evaluated based on relevant criteria, and scored. Alternative pathways through intermediate countries are similarly identified, evaluated, and scored. The evaluations and the resulting scores may be based on, e.g., available infrastructure and the financial and performance costs of using the available infrastructure. The scores are compared to identify the optimum path, and the optimum path is used to facilitate the international financial transaction.
