  • Patent number: 10742314
Abstract: Disclosed herein, one embodiment of the disclosure is directed to a system, apparatus, and method for enabling simultaneous transmit and receive in the same Wi-Fi band within a device by first obtaining a first information corresponding to a first set of signals to be transmitted wirelessly by a first antenna of a first device and transmitting, by the first antenna of the first device, the first set of signals. Then, a second set of signals comprising: (a) the first set of signals transmitted by the first antenna of the first device and (b) a third set of signals transmitted by a second device different than the first device are received by a second antenna of the first device. Thereafter, a second information representing the second set of signals received by the second antenna of the first device is obtained. Last, based on the first information and the second information, a third information comprising an estimation of the third set of signals without the first set of signals is determined.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: August 11, 2020
Assignee: Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP
Inventors: Ahmed Khidre, Deven Mohan Patel, Farhan Hasnain, Prakash Guda
  • Patent number: 10601473
Abstract: A non-transitory computer-readable medium, network device, and method for enabling simultaneous transmit and receive in the same Wi-Fi band within a device by obtaining a first information corresponding to a first set of signals to be transmitted wirelessly by a first antenna of a first device; transmitting, by the first antenna of the first device, the first set of signals; receiving, by a second antenna of the first device, a second set of signals comprising (a) the first set of signals transmitted by the first antenna of the first device and (b) a third set of signals transmitted by a second device different than the first device; determining a third information corresponding to the third set of signals by canceling the first set of signals from the second set of signals, wherein the third information comprises an estimation of the third set of signals transmitted by the second device.

  • Patent number: 8483751
Abstract: A wireless communication device or a split band diversity antenna arrangement (10, 20, 30 or 41) has a first multi-band antenna (22 or 14) located at a bottom portion (11) of the wireless communication device and selectively coupled to a diversity receiver (26), a second multi-band antenna (24 or 12) located at a top portion (13) of the wireless communication device and selectively coupled to a dual band transceiver (28), a band splitter (25) splitting an input from the first antenna into a first output and a second output where the first output serves as an input to the diversity receiver, and a band combiner (27) that combines the second output of the band splitter with a signal from the second antenna to provide an input signal to the dual band transceiver.
