The housing assembly at least partially contains the filter element and comprises a cover that defines a first outlet through which the first filtered air flow portion flows to a downstream device. The cover comprises a noise reduction device that receives the first filtered air flow portion and dissipates sound waves traveling upstream from the downstream device.
