  • Publication number: 20250232114
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for extracting entities from a body of text, using large language models. An example method comprises receiving, from a user, a first input comprising a body of text to be processed for information and a second input comprising a set of at least one element, wherein each of the at least one element comprises information associated with an entity, and wherein each of the at least one entity is data to be extracted from the first input. The example method further comprises creating a tailored input for a machine learning model based on the second input, sending the tailored input to the machine learning model, receiving an output from the machine learning model, processing the output, and providing a processed interactive output to the user.

  • Publication number: 20250165491
Abstract: Consistent with disclosed embodiments, systems, devices, and methods for extracting data from scanned documents using artificial intelligence may be provided. Disclosed embodiments may involve obtaining at least one document associated with at least one entity and identifying at least one table located on the at least one document. Disclosed embodiments may involve extracting text within the identified at least one table based on predicted coordinates of the at least one table and reproducing the at least one table using the extracted text by: identifying at least one header of the at least one table; identifying a final row of the at least one table; identifying, using a sliding window technique, columns of the at least one table; and presenting the extracted text in rows and columns. Disclosed embodiments may store the reproduced at least one table in a database.

  • Publication number: 20070103334
Abstract: Tamper detection apparatus for an electric meter (M) installed at a facility supplied power through an electrical distribution system, the meter being connected to the facility using a receptacle (K) and monitoring electricity usage at the facility for electricity delivered to the facility flowing through the meter. A sensor (RR) senses movement of the meter more than a predetermined amount with respect to the receptacle, whether or not electricity is flowing through the meter, and produces a tampering signal when this occurs. A second and optional sensor (Z) senses the proximity of the meter to its receptacle with removal of meter from its receptacle producing a tampering signal representative thereof. Generation of a tampering signal results in a tamper alert signal being transmitted to the system through a two-way communications path established between the facility and the system.

  • Publication number: 20060190140
Abstract: Apparatus (10) for controlling supply of electricity through an electrical distribution network to a customer. An electrical meter (12) is plugged into an electrical socket (14) at a customer's premises. Electricity flows from a power line through the socket into the premises, the amount of electricity used being measured by the meter. The apparatus is interposed between the meter and the socket and includes a switch (18) to interrupt flow of electricity into the premises. The switch is controlled by the utility, preferably through programming of the apparatus or through a TWACS® communication system. This enables the utility to selectively control supply of electricity to the premises apart from the flow of electricity to any other premises connected to the same power line (L).
