Abstract: In a method for manufacturing absorbent sanitary articles a first and a second continuous band advance parallel to each other in a machine direction, and a plurality of first chassis and second chassis oriented transversely to the continuous bands, spaced apart in the machine direction and alternately inverted are fixed to the first and second continuous band, the method includes cutting and removing front portions of the chassis and corresponding portions of the continuous bands to form a first and a second array of product blanks each having a respective continuous band and rear portions of respective chassis fixed thereto.
