  • Publication number: 20210197469
Abstract: According to one aspect there is provided a build material processing apparatus for a 3D printing system. The system comprises a sieve to sieve build material, the sieve to receive a flow of build material, a vibrator mechanism to vibrate the sieve at a resonant frequency. A controller is provided to determine displacement characteristics of the sieve, determine, based on the displacement characteristics, a fill state of the sieve, and control a flow of build material to the sieve based on the determined fill state.

  • Patent number: 10194045
Abstract: Example implementations relate to printer power management. For example, a system for printer power management may include a system power control engine to receive a power usage estimate from each of a plurality of components of a printing device and schedule a deferred service routine to identify a level of real-time performance of the plurality of components. Furthermore, a system for printer power management may include a state machine engine to estimate how close a power supply coupled to the printing device is to an over-power failure (OPF) based on the real-time performance.

Date of Patent: January 29, 2019
    Assignee: Hewlett-Packard Development Company, L.P.
