Abstract: A power-assisted stroller with a rocking feature is provided. The stroller includes two motors each coupled to a respective back wheel of the stroller. Each of the back wheels also includes a pedal assembly that is positioned off-axis from the motor and the back wheels. The pedal assembly includes a brake mechanism and a rocking mechanism. When the pedal assembly is rotated, a rocking pin of the rocking mechanism engages with a slot in a rocking lifter of the pedal assembly and with an elongated slot in the motor cover. The rocking mechanism includes a spring that is configured to bias the rocking pin and the rocking pin housing such that the rocking pin engages with the slot in the rocking lifter at the same position in all operating modes. The two motors are then operated to move the stroller back and forth a predetermined number of degrees.
