Abstract: A handle add-on for buckets and a method for installing same are provided. The handle add-on has a first portion and a second portion, both having a generally horizontal cylindrical segment shape. The first and second portions can be coupled and interlocked together to form a curved bore therebetween to accommodate a portion of a bucket handle by a method comprising: placing a portion of the handle into an axial channel of the second portion, positioning the first portion over the second portion, and interlocking the first and second portions by sliding the first portion axially relative to the second portion.
