  • Publication number: 20240105313
Abstract: A method predicts an interpretation time for a medical image examination of a subject comprising one or more medical images. A plurality of data inputs is obtained, where the data inputs are associated with the medical image examination or the subject of the medical image examination, and the data points represent parameters affecting the interpretation time. The plurality of data inputs are input to a trained artificial intelligence algorithm, wherein the algorithm automatically provides a predicted interpretation time based on said plurality of data inputs. The predicted interpretation time is output to a clinical management system. A clinical management system incorporating the aforementioned method and a computer program product encoded with the aforementioned method are also provided.

  • Patent number: 7622638
Abstract: The invention provides method and compositions for the modulation of condensed tannin production in plants. The methods of the invention allow creation of plants having novel phenotypes. Increased expression of condensed tannins in plants may be used to increase the nutritional value of food plants for both human and animal consumption. Increased condensed tannin content also reduces the potential for bloat in animals fed certain forage plants low in condensed tannin content. The invention may also be used to modify plant pigmentation.

  • Patent number: 7368631
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method of Acacia mangium regeneration through organogenesis and a method of genetic transformation of Acacia mangium. The method of regeneration comprises inducing callus from different parts of seedlings and vegetatively micropropagated plantlets as explants; adventitious bud induction followed by pinnate leaf and bud elongation and eventually, elongated shoots were induced to root. Based on the regeneration system, a marker gene GUS under cauliflower mosaic virus promoter was introduced to Acacia mangium via Agrobacterium infection. GUS staining in the regenerated plants and Southern blot hybridization prove the incorporation of the foreign gene into the host genome and expression of the foreign gene.
