    Abstract: The present invention relates to a control method for motor-driven shears. The control method for the motor-driven shears of the present invention requires that both the power supply module and the control system used to drive the motor be active simultaneously for the shears to operate. The power supply module requires a switch be pressed to activate the power supply module and to provide the resultant power to the MCU. Further, upon releasing the switch, the MCU is be able to maintain the power supply module in a discharging state long enough to allow the control system controlling the motor to rotate the movable blade to an open position. Finally, when the movable blade is opened to a maximum position, the MCU may direct the motor to stop rotation and shut off the power supply module.

    Abstract: An optoelectronic distance measuring device includes a frequency modulator generating a high-frequency modulation signal, an emitter emitting a high-frequency modulated measuring beam to an object to be measured, an avalanche photodiode receiving a reflected measuring beam from the object and generating a corresponding high-frequency reflected measuring signal, and a signal generating device generating a high-frequency mixer signal connected with the avalanche photodiode. The high-frequency mixer signal is applied to the avalanche photodiode and mixed with the high-frequency reflected measuring signal to provide a low-frequency measuring signal which contains phase information for calculating a distance to be measured. In this manner, measuring error due to phase drift is eliminated without the need for an extra internal reference optical path and an mechanical switching device so that the structure of the device is simplified significantly and manufacturing costs are reduced.

    Abstract: The laser distance measuring device of the present invention comprises an emitting part having a laser generating device with a first spectral bandwidth arranged on an emitting optical path and a collimating lens. The emitting part also has an optical filter with a second spectral bandwidth which is less than the first spectral bandwidth. The laser distance measuring device also has a receiving part having a photoelectric receiving and conversion device to receive the measuring beam reflected by the object to be measured and convert it into an electric signal. Using the optical filter, most of the unneeded portions of the laser beam emitted from the laser are filtered out so that the useful proportion of the measuring beam of the laser beam is improved and the ranging capability of the laser distance measuring device under a bright or strong light environment is enhanced.

The ultrasonic range finder further comprises a calibration rod to provide a constant reference distance. The calibration rod includes a first end connected to the casing. By measuring a propagation time of an ultrasonic signal within the constant reference distance an ultrasonic propagation speed can be determined quickly and precisely and thereby perform the distance measurement quickly and precisely without being affected by changes in the environment.
