    Abstract: A grounding system for improving the performance of an RF coaxial lightning protector having a housing for containing an RF coaxial lightning protector. The housing has a jack at one end and a plug at the other end. The system also includes a grounding device fabricated from a conductive material, which is connected to the housing and, in turn, connected to a grounding surface. The connections are such that a signal current can pass from the housing to the grounding surface through the grounding device.
