  • Patent number: 11487690
Abstract: In some examples, universal host and NVMe™ storage domain discovery for NVM Express™ over Fabrics (NVMe-oF™) may include broadcasting location parameters to a host and a plurality of NVMe™ storage domains for discovery of a NVM Express™ over Fabrics (NVMe-oF™) service. Based on host parameters and NVMe™ storage domain parameters received in response to the broadcast location parameters, the host and the NVMe™ storage domains may be respectively registered with the NVMe-oF™ service. A mapping that indicates a specified NVMe™ storage domain that is to communicate with the host may be obtained. Communication may be implemented between the host and the specified NVMe™ storage domain by forwarding the mapping and associated discovery target parameters to the host to implement discovery of the specified NVMe™ storage domain by the host, and connection of the specified NVMe™ storage domain to the host.

  • Patent number: 10862973
Abstract: A web server sends a first coordinator to a first browser of a first mobile device. The first coordinator is a set of instructions executable by the first browser. The web server also sends a second coordinator to a second browser of a second mobile device. The second coordinator is a set of instructions executable by the second browser. The first coordinator, when executed by the first browser, cause the first browser to: send a first request for information to the second browser, over the web server; wait until the requested information is received from the second coordinator over the web server; and when the requested information is received from the second coordinator, perform a first action based on the requested information received from the second coordinator. The first request includes a first token, and the requested information includes a next token.

  • Patent number: 9447970
Abstract: A dampener or resonator is provided within a combustor casing to mitigate combustion dynamics. The combustor casing head end volume is reduced by the resonator to mitigate combustion dynamics. The resonator is formed by a ring shaped plate that carries a continuous inwardly protruding wall or segmented inwardly protruding wall portions. The resonator can be a stand alone part that is inserted into the combustor casing or it can be integrally formed with the combustor casing.

  • Publication number: 20120180486
Abstract: A combustor is provided and includes a center body having a tubular inner wall, a cartridge disposed within the tubular inner wall to define an outer annular space between an outer surface thereof and the tubular inner wall and an inner annular space having an open end and a closed end opposite the open end and an insert disposed within the outer annular space to envelop the cartridge proximate to the open end, the insert including a body having a tubular forward portion and a partially tubular aft portion, the partially tubular aft portion thereby forming a recessed track having a longitudinal axis substantially aligned with a longitudinal axis of the outer annular space.

  • Publication number: 20120023951
Abstract: A fuel nozzle for a turbine engine includes an air admission shroud which admits a flow of air from an exterior of the fuel nozzle into an interior of the fuel nozzle at a position along the length of the fuel nozzle. A plurality of air admission apertures in the air admission shroud could be arranged to cause the air being admitted into the interior of the fuel nozzle to swirl around the interior of the fuel nozzle in a rotational fashion. If the fuel nozzle also includes swirler vanes located upstream of the air admission shroud, which also induce air within the fuel nozzle to swirl around the interior of the fuel nozzle in a rotational fashion, then the air admission apertures of the air admission shroud preferably cause the air admitted through the air admission shroud to swirl in a rotational direction which is opposite to the swirl induced by the swirler vanes. This helps to better mix the air and the fuel within the nozzle.

  • Publication number: 20110165527
Abstract: A thermo acoustic damper for a combustor includes at least one resonator in flow communication with a flow channel of the combustor. The resonator includes an enclosed volume and at least one baffle plate positioned in the enclosed volume dividing the enclosed volume into at least two volumes. A plurality of feed tubes extend inwardly into at least one of the at least two volumes from the flow channel and are configured to reduce thermo acoustic dynamics of the combustor. A combustor includes an enclosed combustor cap volume and a plurality of fuel nozzles extending through the combustor cap volume. At least one baffle plate is located in the combustor cap volume dividing the combustor cap volume into at least two volumes. A plurality of feed tubes extend inwardly into at least one of the at least two volumes from a flow channel.
