    Abstract: A process for obtaining a dope dyed lyocell fibre can include the steps of (a) mixing one or more pigment with an aqueous organic solvent to obtain a slurry; (b) applying vacuum to said slurry to remove excess water content to obtain a masterbatch (c) mixing the masterbatch obtained in step (b) to a lyocell dope to obtain a pigmented dope; and (d) extruding said pigmented dope of step (c) through a spinneret to form dope dyed lyocell fiber.
