  • Patent number: 11451692
Abstract: Systems and methods for secure video devices are provided. A video device includes a privacy module that can be automatically or manually activated to obscure the field of view of the video device. The video device also includes a visual indicator for indicating when the camera has been activated, in order to alert individuals within view of the camera that the camera is active. The system can automatically detect when a privacy breach occurs (e.g., if an unauthorized user gains access to the camera) and can automatically activate the privacy module in response to the detected privacy breach in order to obscure the field of view of the camera and maintain the privacy of individuals within the field of view of the camera.

  • Publication number: 20200115132
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a packaging assembly for mailing a home security device by direct mail package. The packaging assembly includes an envelope. The envelope includes a first panel, a second panel and a seal flap. The seal flap is affixed on a first side of the first panel. The envelope provides space for encapsulating a foam cushioning. The foam cushioning is characterized by a cuboidal shape. The envelope encapsulates the home security device. The home security device includes a protective housing encapsulating a plurality of electrical components. The rectangular pocket on the second face of the foam cushioning receives the home security device. The envelop encapsulates a first layer. The first layer covers the first face of the foam cushioning. The envelope encapsulates a second layer. The second layer covers the second section of the second face of the foam cushioning and a segment of the home security device.

  • Patent number: 10346862
Abstract: A system implements a method of migrating users to target services including segmenting the users of the target services into macrosegments and micro segments within each macro segment. For each micro segment, rankings of the target services for the users in the micro segment are determined. The rankings are based on the combinations of the target services owned by the users in the micro segment product association, a sequence for acquiring the target services owned by the users in the micro segment, propensities to acquire the target services, and eligibility of the target services for the users in the micro segment. The target services are selected for migration based on the rankings.
