  • Patent number: 12602934
Abstract: A vehicular vision system includes a camera disposed at a vehicle and viewing at least forward of the vehicle. The vehicular vision system, as the vehicle travels along a traffic lane of a road and via processing of image data captured by the camera and based on map data, determines presence of a plurality of traffic lights at an intersection and identifies a target traffic light from the plurality of traffic lights that is associated with the traffic lane along which the equipped vehicle is traveling as the vehicle approaches the intersection. The vehicular vision system determines, via processing of image data captured by the camera, status of the identified target traffic light. The vehicular vision system, responsive to determining the status of the identified target traffic light, alerts a driver of the vehicle of the status of the relevant traffic light and/or controls speed of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20260048743
Abstract: A vehicular driving assist system includes at least one sensor disposed at a vehicle. The sensor includes a forward-viewing camera that views at least forward of the equipped vehicle. The system, responsive to processing of sensor data captured by the at least one sensor, (i) determines a leading vehicle in front of the equipped vehicle and within a traffic lane along which the equipped vehicle is currently traveling and (ii) determines a status of a traffic indicator for the traffic lane along which the equipped vehicle is currently traveling. The system predicts forward movement of the leading vehicle based the status of the traffic indicator. The system controls acceleration of the equipped vehicle based at least in part on the predicted forward movement of the leading vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20250349211
Abstract: A vehicular control system includes an electronic control unit (ECU) disposed at a vehicle. Image data captured by a camera disposed at the vehicle is transferred to the ECU. With the vehicle traveling along a traffic lane of a road, the vehicular control system, at least in part via processing at the ECU of image data captured by the camera, determines a plurality of road characteristics of the road. The vehicular control system, based at least in part on the determined plurality of road characteristics, determines likelihood that the road is a multi-lane highway having two or more traffic lanes for traffic traveling in each direction. The vehicular control system, responsive to determining that the likelihood that the road is a multi-lane highway is greater than a threshold, enables a lane-centering system, a lane change assist system, a lane keep assist system or a hands-free driving system of the vehicle.
