The coupling device includes a fuel injector cup configured to be hydraulically coupled to the fuel rail and to engage a fuel inlet portion of the fuel injector, a plate element fixedly coupled to the fuel injector cup and comprising a groove, and a snap ring arranged in the groove and configured to fixedly couple the plate element to the fuel injector to retain the fuel injector in the fuel injector cup in direction of a central longitudinal axis of the fuel injector and to prevent a movement of the fuel injector relative to the plate element in a first direction of the central longitudinal axis. A circlip arranged axially between the fuel injector and the plate element prevents a movement of the fuel injector relative to the plate element in a second, opposite direction of the central longitudinal axis.

    Abstract: A spinal alignment system is disclosed that includes a rod and a plurality of uniplanar screw assemblies that include a screw, a cap, and a housing. The screw and cap are configured such that the relative angular displacement between the screw and the cap is limited to a first limit angle in a first plane and to a second limit angle in a second plane that is perpendicular to the first plane, the second limit angle being larger than the first limit angle. The housing is coupled to the cap and configured to maintain the cap in proximity with the head of the screw. The housing has two elongated elements forming a U-shaped saddle. The alignment system also includes a plurality of locking cap assemblies that capture the rod within the U-shaped saddle and are tightened to fixedly couple the rod to the respective uniplanar screw assemblies.

    Abstract: A method of manufacturing a curved structural element made of composite material has a complex, open cross-section the structural element is formed by the assembly of components made of composite material. A plurality of flat, fresh components are prepared, each component being constituted by a flat layer of curved fibres previously infused with resin, combined with a pre-impregnated layer with straight fibres. Hot-forming of the flat, raw components is then performed. The hot-formed, fresh components are then assembled in accordance with a predetermined sequence on a polymerization tool. The tool includes a shaped, inflatable device astride which a C-shaped raw component is deposited. Finally, the fresh components assembled on the tool are subjected to a polymerization cycle in an autoclave. The inflatable device is inflated by the pressure produced in the autoclave to apply a predetermined pressure from the inside of the C-shaped fresh component.

    Abstract: A method of producing a tire mix, including a first mixing step, in which a mix contains at least one cross-linkable unsaturated-chain polymer base, 10 to 100 phr of silica, and 1 to 20 phr of a silane bonding agent in the trialkoxymercaptoalkyl-silane class; and a final mixing step, in which a curing system is added to the mix. The silane bonding agent is used in adsorbed form on 0.5 to 2 phr of zinc oxide, and on 5 to 15 phr of carbon black. At the first mixing step, the mix contains 1 to 5 phr of one or more fatty acid derivatives, and, at the final mixing step, 1 to 2 phr of zinc oxide is added to the mix. The fatty acid derivatives are derived from condensation of a fatty acid, having a carbon number of 16 to 20, with an alcohol having a carbon number of 2 to 6, or with a primary or secondary amine having a carbon number of 2 to 6.

    Abstract: A combined water drain and diluent gas purge valve routes fluid from the anode side of a fuel cell to the cathode inlet. When a purge of diluent gas is requested, the valve opens, draining any liquid present in the sump of a water separation device, for example. After the liquid has drained, the diluent gas is purged. An anode bleed model using fuel injector feedback can determine the amount of gas exiting the valve, and can request the valve to close once the required amount of diluent is purged. During operation, an amount of hydrogen may exit the valve. Hydrogen passing through the valve can be catalytically consumed once it reaches the cathode electrode, causing the cathode exhaust, and the fuel cell exhaust to have a reduced hydrogen content.

The support may move relative to the frame in response to an applied force and is biased to return and maintain the support in the substantially outwardly transverse horizontal orientation when the force is removed.
