    Abstract: A system for continuously treating recycled polystyrene material includes a hopper/densifier configured to feed recycled polystyrene material into the system. An extruder can turn the recycled polystyrene material into a molten material. In some embodiments, the extruder uses thermal fluids, electric heaters, and/or a separate heater. Solvents, such as toluene, xylenes, cymenes, and/or terpinenes can aid in generating the molten material. The molten material can be depolymerized in a reactor and a catalyst can be used to aid the depolymerizing. In certain embodiments, the catalyst is contained in a permeable container. In some embodiments, copolymers/monomers are grafted onto the depolymerized material. The depolymerized molten material can be cooled via a heat exchanger. The product can be isolated by extraction, distillation, and/or separation. In some embodiments, the product is treated through filtration and absorption media. In some embodiments, multiple reactors are used.

    Abstract: Methods of making robust bijels include dispersing metal oxide precursors and/or metal salts into at least one phase of a bijel and hydrolyzing and condensing the metal oxide precursors and/or metal salts in a sol-gel reaction to form sintered bridges between interfacially jammed surface-active nanoparticles. The methods can be used with any bijels, including those produced during solvent transfer-induced phase separation (STRIPS) methods and other methods. A robust bijel includes chemically sintered bridges between the interfacially jammed surface-active nanoparticles. Methods of making nanocatalyst-functionalized sintered bijels include adsorbing metal salts to a surface of sintered interfacially jammed nanoparticles of bijels, and reducing the metal precursors on the surface of the sintered nanoparticles. Nanocatalyst-functionalized sintered bijels include catalytically active metal or metal oxide nanocatalysts on a surface of the sintered interfacially jammed surface-active nanoparticles.

Heterogeneity can be summarized by performing capturing features in appropriate subgraphs (e.g., node-centric neighborhoods associated with each node type, edge direction, and/or edge type). The geometric viewport has a height corresponding to a number of rays emitted from the virtual sensor. The geometric viewport is segregated into sections. Each section corresponds to a frustum. A virtual point cloud of the virtual sensor is rendered. The virtual point cloud includes coordinate positions representing a portion of the environment located within the virtual viewing range of the virtual sensor.

The tunable liquid crystal grating is located on the back focal plane of the lens I and on the front focal plane of the lens II, and the signal controller is used for synchronously controlling the voltage of the tunable liquid crystal grating and the generation and loading of the hologram.
