  • Publication number: 20240346825
Abstract: Some examples include systems and methods for monitoring emission indications. A system has an image sensor to capture an image of a flare stack. A computer vision engine is configured to determine whether an emission indicator captured by the image indicates an emission event. A server engine is configured to transmit a notification indicating whether the emission indicator indicates the emission event to a control system of the flare stack. The computer vision engine is configured to update one or more model settings, one or more thresholds, or a combination thereof based on one or more settings. In one embodiment, the computer vision engine is configured to identify, using a deep convolutional neural network (DCNN) model, the emission indicator captured by the image.

  • Patent number: 11661157
Abstract: An offshore floating island includes a supporting structure and an island main body. The bottom of the supporting structure is fixed at the seabed, and the island main body includes one or two or more compartment bodies; the upper part of the supporting structure is provided with a carrying part; the bottom of each compartment body is provided with a mounting part; the compartment body is of a cavity structure, and a filler is injected to the compartment body till the compartment body sinks to cause the mounting part to be in lock type clamping with the carrying part. The island main body is of a compartment-sinking type structure; the filler is poured into the compartment bodies to cause the compartment bodies to sink; the mounting parts and the carrying part cooperate to realize detachable connection between the supporting structure and the compartment bodies.

  • Patent number: 11156083
Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems for determination of fluid contamination of a fluid sample from a downhole fluid sampling tool. A method may comprise obtaining a fluid sample, wherein the fluid sample comprises a reservoir fluid contaminated with a well fluid; obtaining input parameters, wherein the input parameters comprise fluid properties obtained from measurement of the fluid sample and mud filtrate composition; obtaining initial values of iterative parameters, wherein the iterative parameters comprise fluid contamination of the fluid sample; determining calculated fluid properties of the reservoir fluid using equation of state flash calculating; and repeating steps of determining component mole fractions and determining calculated fluid properties for use in the mole fraction distribution function until a comparison of one or more of the calculated fluid properties with one or more of the input parameters is within a tolerance error.

  • Patent number: 11136740
Abstract: An underwater traffic tunnel that includes a body immersed in water, a connector, and a ventilation system. The body comprises a first cavity for providing a passage space and a second cavity located below the first cavity. The second cavity is in communication with water; the connector connects the body and the water bottom and is used to resist buoyancy, and the ventilation system is in communication with the first cavity and extends above the water surface; the body of the present invention is safely immersed in water, and a vessel can navigate freely above the body; the second cavity is in communication with water and is not easy to be overturned by seawater; the connector resists buoyancy; the ventilation system can prevent damage by external forces through deformation and movement, and an escape system can be activated in emergency situations.

  • Patent number: 10889956
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a sea tunnel, and relates to the technical field of sea-crossing bridge tunnels. The sea tunnel comprises a body; and the body has a hollow cavity extending from one end to the other end, the cavity is divided into mutually independent first cavity and second cavity by a passage pavement, the first cavity is mainly used for passing and is wholly or partly protruded out of the sea level, the second cavity is immersed in the seawater, water holes are formed in the second cavity, and the second cavity is communicated with the seawater through the water holes. When the seawater impacts one side of the body, the second cavity is immersed in the seawater, and the seawater flows into the second cavity, so the body is not easy to be flushed over by the seawater.
