  • Publication number: 20160167582
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatuses are disclosed for determining lane information of a roadway segment from vehicle probe data. Probe data is received from vehicle camera sensors at a road segment, wherein the probe data includes lane marking data on the road segment. Lane markings are identified, to the extent present, for the left and right boundaries of the lane of travel as well as the adjacent lane boundaries to the left and right of the lane of travel. The identified lane markings are coded, wherein solid lane lines, dashed lane lines, and unidentified or non-existing lane lines are differentiated. The coded lane markings are compiled in a database. A number of lanes are predicted at the road segment from the database of coded lane markings.

  • Patent number: 8984112
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide an Internet address information processing method, apparatus and an Internet system. The method includes: receiving, by a first leaf node, a query request message containing an IP address to be queried sent by user equipment, and performing query or sending a query request to an intermediate layer node; obtaining, by the intermediate layer node, an IP address of a second leaf node according to a prefix of the IP address to be queried to send the query request message to the second leaf node; and finally, sending, by the second leaf node, address information about the IP address after receiving the query request message. Embodiments of the present invention further provide corresponding apparatus and system. The method, apparatus, and system provided by the present invention are capable of implementing real-time query for address information about IP addresses.

  • Patent number: 8495154
Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for tracking the usage of digital content is provided. The method includes tracking the usage of at least one digital content by having a provider computer system prepare the content in an encoded format and allowing the provider computer system to distribute the content to a user computer system. The user computer system is made to generate at least one usage tracking message in response to the usage of the content by the user computer system in a uniform, fine-grained and format independent way. The user computer system is enabled to report the usage tracking message to the provider computer system. The provider computer system verifies the usage tracking message.

  • Publication number: 20060110004
Abstract: A system for generating a plurality of noise-deteriorated images from an image displayable on a computer display for deterring unauthorized reuse of the image is disclosed. The system relates to transforming an image displayable on a computer display into a plurality of frequency components, and generating a noise sequence for each frequency component in the plurality of frequency components, each noise sequence having a plurality of noise numbers. The system also relates to selecting, in relation to a first noise-deteriorated image, a first noise number from each noise sequence, and deteriorating each frequency component in the plurality of frequency components using the first noise number from each noise sequence corresponding to each frequency component in the plurality of frequency components to form a noise deteriorated frequency component in a first plurality of noise-deteriorated frequency components.

  • Patent number: 4908326
Abstract: In a method for fabricating an MOS structure, in accordance with one embodiment, a layer of material that serves as an etching stop during the side wall spacer etch, is inserted between the silicon substrate and the side wall spacer. In another embodiment of the invention, after establishing differential layer thicknesses on the source/drain surface, the side wall spacer is completely removed and light and heavy ion implantation steps are performed sequentially with one single lithographic step. In a further embodiment of the invention, after the self-aligned silicide is formed, the side wall spacer is removed, and light and heavy ion implantation steps are sequentially performed.
