Abstract: A stove has a fuel tank with a flat top and bottom and a side wall to define a fuel chamber. A fuel feed path includes a vertical pipe assembly. The fuel feed path also includes a horizontal pipe assembly functioning as a vaporizer. The fuel feed path also includes a generally C-shaped pipe assembly. An associated warming coil is in a generally circular configuration to direct a flow of some of the fuel from one part of the horizontal pipe assembly to another part of the horizontal pipe assembly. A generally cylindrical ignition chamber is at the terminal end of the C-shaped pipe assembly. Apertures are provided for cooking purposes and are adapted to preheat the fuel in the horizontal pipe assembly and the warming coil.

The pump subassembly includes a beveled seat having an interior end with a cylindrical configuration constituting an interior guard with a first O-ring on the seat adjacent to the interior guard. The beveled seat has an exterior end with a cylindrical configuration constituting an exterior guard with a second O-ring on the seats adjacent to the exterior guard. The beveled seat has an intermediate guard on the seat between the first O-ring and the second O-ring.

Abstract: A pressure gauge subassembly, a pump subassembly, a lower skirt and cap, and an ignition bowl having an up-pipe are coupled to a fuel tank. A safety cover has a Z-shaped upward projection coupled to the lower skirt. A heat resistant glass chimney is coupled to the lower and upper skirts. A lower skirt is coupled to the glass chimney. A lantern top cap with a mixing chamber is coupled to the upper skirt. A plurality of connecting rods firmly hold and contain the glass chimney between the upper skirt and the lower skirt. A vaporizer has two warming coils and a nipple. A quantity of steel wool is wrapped around a vaporizer shaft. A J-shaped mixing tube having a wire mesh and a baffle plate is coupled to the lantern top cap. A mantel is coupled to the mixing tube. The fuel is a quantity of liquid methanol.

Abstract: A lantern system capable of being selectively utilized as a source of light for illumination purposes and as a source of heat for cooking purposes, includes a lower assembly including a base constituting a closed container for the receipt of fuel. An upper assembly includes a chimney. A handle assembly includes a rigid U-shaped wire with small loops at its ends. A fluid delivery assembly includes a linear pipe secured with regard to the lower assembly and upper assembly with an inverted U-shaped tube secured with respect thereto and has an input end operatively associated with a mantle support within the chimney supporting a mantle to support combustion therein for illumination and heating. A dome assembly has an annular vertical wall with two notches positionable to straddle the bolts when used for illumination. A cooking assembly has legs extending downwardly with notches positionable to straddle the bolts.
