    Abstract: The present invention relates to a retention device for holding one or more cables, comprising: a support bracket having at least one end piece with a recess, a back piece, a locking device configured to run through the recess of the support bracket for cooperation with the back piece, and at least one compressible module having a through opening configured to receive one or more cables, wherein the at least one compressible module is arranged between the support bracket and the back piece, and wherein the locking device is configured to lock the end piece of the support bracket to the back piece and compress the at least one compressible module around the one or more cables. Disclosed is also a retention system comprising such a device, a method for holding one or more cables and use of said system.
