  • Publication number: 20240115375
Abstract: A prosthetic heart valve includes an annular frame that is radially collapsible and expandable between a radially collapsed configuration and a radially expanded configuration. The frame has a plurality of circumferentially extending rows of angled struts, each row of angled struts comprising angled struts arranged in a zig-zag pattern. The prosthetic heart valve further includes a leaflet structure positioned within the frame and secured thereto, and an outer sealing member mounted outside of the frame. The sealing member has an undulating outflow edge portion forming a plurality of triangular projections that are connected to and shaped to correspond to the zig-zag pattern of one of the rows of angled struts. The outer sealing member is sized to fit snugly against the outer surface of the frame when the frame is in the expanded configuration.

  • Publication number: 20240075791
Abstract: Aspects of the subject technology relate to systems, methods, and computer-readable media for maintaining a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system in a vehicle. Factors associated with operation of an HVAC system in a vehicle are monitored. Input data generated by monitoring the factors are applied to a machine learning model. The machine learning model is configured to predict a health of the HVAC system in relation to the operation of the HVAC system in the vehicle. An output of the machine learning model that is indicative of the health of the HVAC system is accessed. Information associated with a likelihood that the HVAC system will fail in relation to a specific time is identified based on the output of the machine learning model.

  • Patent number: 11731915
Abstract: A new slow-release fertilizer is described that is formed by applying graphene oxide (GO) as a carrier for micronutrients such as copper (Cu) and zinc (Zn), in which the micronutrients are efficiently bonded with the functional groups at the surface and sides of the GO sheets due to their affinity to the unpaired oxygen atoms in the GO. The prepared Cu-graphene oxide (Cu-GO) and Zn-graphene oxide (Zn-GO) fertilizers showed a biphasic dissolution behaviour compared to commercial zinc sulphate (ZnSO4) and copper sulphate (CuSO4) fertilizer granules, displaying both fast- and slow-release micronutrient release.

  • Publication number: 20160349221
Abstract: Mass spectrometric methods are described for determining the amount of analyte in a sample collected by a microsampling device. Provided herein are methods directed to quantitating the amount of an analyte in a sample by extracting an analyte from a sample collected by a microsampling device, purifying the sample by liquid chromatography, ionizing the analyte to generate one or more ions detectable by mass spectrometry; and determining the amount of the one or more ions by mass spectrometry. The amount of analyte in the sample is related to the amount of analyte in the patient.
