Abstract: A portable sneeze guard system for facilitating personal protection using durable lightweight acrylic and a design which easily supports opening, closing and transportation. This approach includes radial, series, modular and reconfigurable designs and a design which protects student desk areas with desk legs offset from the edge of the desk. This is approach accommodates easy cleaning and easy integration into a professional work environment. It also accommodates ease of transportation by folding the device to a smaller size.
