  • Publication number: 20070027810
Abstract: A portfolio and resource tracking system, including hardware and software, is presented that provides a single tool for tracking information related to software development. The system permits the technology and business aspects of a company to work closely with each other to better align the strategic objectives of the company. Snapshots of the information over the development cycle of the software may be taken with a desired granularity. Resources, both personnel and monetary, may be reallocated as a result and more accurate forecasting of operating expenses may occur. The system is in compliance standard processes.
