  • Patent number: 8931538
Abstract: A venetian blind operating device comprises a wand having a center hole and a slide slot. The slide slot runs through the wand in an axial direction and intersects the center hole. In addition, the operating device comprises a blind cord locking assembly locked in the center hole of the wand and coupled to a blind cord of a venetian blind. Further, the operating device comprises a control key surroundingly provided at a periphery of the wand, and a press key provided on the control key for disengaging the blind cord locking assembly from a locked state. The blind cord is hidden by being contained in the center hole of the wand. The press key, the control key and the blind cord locking assembly are cooperated to withdraw or draw the venetian blind.

  • Publication number: 20140124149
Abstract: A control device for a venetian blind, including a controller for controlling the venetian blind to draw and withdraw and a rotating handle for driving the controller to operate. The controller includes a first rotating member for driving a transmission shaft of the venetian blind to rotate and a second rotating member. The axis of rotation of the second rotating member and that of the first rotating member are orthogonal. The second rotating member is provided with a connection shaft connected with the rotating handle. The first rotating member is rotated coaxially with the transmission shaft to realize the drawing and withdrawing of the venetian blind. A venetian blind having the above control device for the venetian blind is further disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7912705
Abstract: A fact extraction tool set (“FEX”) finds and extracts targeted pieces of information from text using linguistic and pattern matching technologies, and in particular, text annotation and fact extraction. Text annotation tools break a text, such as a document, into its base tokens and annotate those tokens or patterns of tokens with orthographic, syntactic, semantic, pragmatic and other attributes. A user-defined “Annotation Configuration” controls which annotation tools are used in a given application. XML is used as the basis for representing the annotated text. A tag uncrossing tool resolves conflicting (crossed) annotation boundaries in an annotated text to produce well-formed XML from the results of the individual annotators. The fact extraction tool is a pattern matching language which is used to write scripts that find and match patterns of attributes that correspond to targeted pieces of information in the text, and extract that information.

  • Patent number: 6732563
Abstract: A rivet tool to be used with a rivet includes a tube adapted to be received in an adjusting knob, a transmission rod movably received in the tube and a bolt having a front threading and a rear threading corresponding to the front inner threading. The bolt securely engages with the transmission rod in such a way that there is no relative movement between the bolt and the transmission rod. A Y-shaped head is provided to engage with the rivet tool so that when the rivet is deformed due to movement of the tube, the transmission rod and the bolt, a peripheral edge of the rivet abuts the recessed area of the Y-shaped head, which conforms to an outer contour of an oval tube, so that after the deformation of the rivet and the rivet tool is removed, the appearance of the oval tube is smooth.

  • Patent number: 6539768
Abstract: A riveting tool for fastening a hollow rivet to a curved workpiece is disclosed. The tool includes a main body provided with a forwardly-extending barrel terminating in a forked distal end. The main body has a power-operated rotor formed with a central hexagon stem in alignment with the barrel. A sleeve is movable within the barrel to an extended position and is spring-loaded in such a way that it is normally in the extended position but may be retracted into the barrel when being pressed backward. The riveting tool further includes a screw having a socket head engaged with the central hexagon stem of the rotor. The screw extends out of the barrel through the sleeve.
