  • Patent number: 11636783
Abstract: An electronic shelf label system includes a powered rail for holding electronic shelf labels. The front side of the rail includes a recess that is physically configured to receive a protrusion at the upper rear side of the shelf label. The shelf label further comprises a lower hook member for engaging with a lower edge of the rail. The rail may comprise two conductors for providing the labels with power and data for display on the label. Data and power may be provided via a controller and power module connected to the back of the rail.

  • Patent number: 11263452
Abstract: Various aspects relate to a method of detecting an inventory in a storage space. The method comprises acquiring an image comprising image data depicting at least part of the storage space and determining, for at least an area of the image, at least one product inventory area. Next, it is detected whether the image data comprised by the image area has a transition of intensity above a pre-determined threshold within a pre-determined distance. Based on the outcome of the detection, it is determined a product is present in the product inventory area if the transition of intensity within the pre-determined distance is detected. Using edge detection, no comparison of subsequently acquired images is required. If an edge is detected, a product is determined to be present on a particular location on the shelf. This determination may be executed based on one single image, rather than on two consecutively acquired images.

  • Patent number: 10891675
Abstract: A system including an Electronic Shelf Label (ESL) system configured to communicate with a plurality of ESLs each corresponding to a product offered for sale. The system includes a Near Field Communication (NFC) device configured to communicate with each of the plurality of ESLs within a predetermined distance from the ESL, a customer profile database configured to store a plurality of customer profiles, wherein each of the plurality of customer profiles are associated with a customer NFC device, and a product database configured to store a plurality of product profiles for each of a plurality of products configured within the ESL system. The ESL system retrieves a customer profile associated with the NFC device, and a product profile associated with the product corresponding to an ESL in communication with the NFC device.

  • Patent number: 10411417
Abstract: A panel element is for use in a modular wall system with vertical support structures. The panel element includes a panel having a planar surface and side edges transverse to the planar surface, the planar surface can be hung up on at least one of the vertical support structures. An electrical connector is provided on the back of the panel, including a first connector pin and a connector second pin for forming electrical connections. The first and second connector pins fit within openings in a surface of one of the vertical support structure. The connector pins are movably coupled to the panel so as to allow movement of the first and second connector pins in at least one direction parallel to the planar surface between an extended position and a pulled-in position.
